Every journey makes a lasting impression – and so does the California Comfortline. The impressive front end features distinctive chrome trim and standard halogen headlights. Fog lights complete the elegant overall appearance. The turning lights make journeys in the California Comfortline not only pleasant but also safer at blind intersections and road junctions. The optional “Climatronic” 3-zone air conditioner ensures a pleasant climate during the journey where the driver, front passenger, and rear passengers can set their individually preferred temperature.

The California Comfortline cuts an equally fine figure when parked and is looking at its best with the standard elevating roof. Its automatically elevating roof creates additional space and a folding bed in the pop-up roof area has a slatted frame and high quality mattress to offer a comfortable sleeping surface measuring 120 x 200 cm. The optional mosquito windows on the sides of the electro-hydraulic pop-up roof provide plenty of light – if you wish to admire the sunrise, all you have to do is lift your head.

When you spend the night on the lower berth in the California Comfortline, you can darken the driver’s cab easily and effectively with the snap-in opaque shades for the side windows and dark blinds for the windscreen.
The optional awning offers shade on days when the sun is scorching. The awning case is mounted above the sliding door and is available in black or silver depending on the colour of the vehicle.

If you like, you can take a seat under the awning in one of the two comfortable folding chairs, which are standard for the California Comfortline. They can easily be stored in a compartment in the tailgate lining when not in use. And the tailgate tent * with two windows and a removable side door offers a practical extension to your living space or can function as a shower cabin when used in combination with the integrated splash guards.

No matter how relaxing a holiday is, it also makes you hungry. The California Comfortline is therefore equipped with a fully functional kitchen unit. The 2-burner gas hob ensures relaxed cooking and food supplies can be kept in the 42-litre compressor cool box. After your meal, the camping crockery and cutlery can be washed in the sink and then put away in the drawer and tray underneath. Another drawer under the bench seat provides additional storage space.

The movable worktop is suspended on the kitchen unit and supported by a pull-out leg. The deluxe seats offer ideal lateral support and are equipped with two armrests each as well as lumbar support. Driver’s and front passenger seat can be swivelled through approximately 180°, but are not height-adjustable.
